Paw Joggers Summer Temperature Guidelines
ˇ ALWAYS monitor pets on walks and runs for exhaustion and/or injuries
ˇ Warmer weather requires hydration breaks and slower, easier walks and runs with rest breaks.
ˇ Carry water with you or plan a route where water is available.
Warm weather temperature guidelines:

* Extra caution should be taken for snub-nosed breeds (brachycephalic) such as: boxers, pugs and bulldogs
Preferred terrain:
1) Dirt trail/grass
2) Concrete
3) Blacktop--try to avoid if possible. Cross quickly and do not allow pets to stand on this extremely hot
service, unless well-shaded
Paw pads can get easily burned. Be cautious of where pets are walking/standing. Protective booties are options if pets will adapt to wearing them.
